Plans for schools in Wales to open after half term

The staff and our governing body would like to thank all of our parents and carers for your perseverance, resilience and engagement.

We understand that this is a difficult time for you and are here to help.

I thank you for working with us to support your child’s education.

I thank you for your time and dedication in supporting our home learning.

I thank you for ensuring that your child is ready to learn and HAPPY.

I thank you for sharing your concerns with us and allowing teachers to tweak you child’s home learning plans.

I thank you for upskilling yourself in computing skills and familiarising yourself with Google Classroom/Seesaw.

We really do appreciate all that you are doing for the children.

This morning the First Minister announced plans for the possibility of schools opening for a phased return after half term. At this moment in time we have not received any further information or guidance in relation to this announcement however I can assure you that once we have the information, we will work with parents/carers, our governing body and the local authority to ensure that appropriate safety measures are in place for all of our school community.

We are very much looking forward to a safe return to school for all our learners.

In the meantime please contact the school for any further support with your child’s wellbeing or education. We are here to help and will be able to adjust the plans for you.

Thank you for your continued support.
