October activities

Halloween is back once again at Caegarw Primary School.

We have planned spooktacular class parties for the children on the following dates:

Dosbarth Enfys’ Halloween party will be held on Wednesday October 20th from 4-5pm in the school hall, please enter school via the Arnold Street Steps Gate. Collection will also be from Arnold Street Steps at 5pm.

Dosbarth Pilipala’s Halloween party will be held on Tuesday October 19th from 4-5pm in the school hall, please enter via the Arnold Street Steps Gate. Collection will be from Arnold Street Steps at 5pm.

Dosbarth 3 & 4’s Halloween party will be on Monday 18th October from 4-5pm in the school hall.

Dosbarth 5 & 6’s Halloween party will be held on Monday October 18th from 5.15-6.15pm in the school hall.

Party food will be offered to the children during the parties.

A £1 contribution per pupil, for school funds, will be collected at the door on the evening of the party.

Also during the last week of term we are holding our annual harvest collection to support the local food bank. During the week beginning Monday October 18th we are asking for charitable donations of non-perishable food items such as tinned food, pasta, jelly, tea-bags, coffee etc. Further information regarding our harvest collection will be distributed closer to the date.

Finally, this term’s parents meetings will be held by telephone conversation during the week beginning Monday November 8th. Towards the end of this term you will receive a letter in your child’s bag for you to return to school indicating your preferred date and time for the class teacher to phone you. The telephone conversation will focus on your child’s well-being and academic progress. If you require separate telephone conversations for mam and dad then please can you contact the school to notify us. As usual we will be sending further information regarding our parents meetings nearer the date.

In the meantime if you have any concerns about your child’s well-being or academic progress then please phone the school and we will be able to help.
